We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties at length.

After indicating to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that, prima facie, the present case is not a case where the power of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure can be exercised, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that he

2 wpcr174-17-22-06-18 will not press his challenge further and he will be satisfied if the Investigating Authorities are directed to complete the investigation which is pending for some time and to file a report. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is substantially complete and the Prosecution Agency is awaiting the report from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Pune. He states that the report, as received from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Pune, can be submitted subsequently and the final report can be filed prior to the same. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that within three months the report will be filed and if the report from the Forensic Science Laboratory is not received within that period, it will be filed subsequently as a supplementary report. 3.

In view of this statement, which we accept, no further orders are required to be passed in this Criminal Writ Petition, which is accordingly disposed of.
