On the last date of hearing, we requested Mr Karpe, learned Additional Public Prosecutor to take instructions as Mr Padgaonkar, the counsel for the petitioner had placed reliance upon the order dated 12.02.2025 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.616/2012 along with Criminal Writ Petition No.125/2016, seeking quashing of the proceedings in the wake of the consent terms presented before the Court. By accepting the consent terms duly signed by the petitioners and with their presence recorded before the Court and the terms also being signed by the Joint Secretary (Personnel) of 1st October 2025

13-WPCR-63-2025.DOC the State of Goa, the Writ Petitions were disposed of in the wake of the consent terms.

We have perused the consent terms which make a reference to the FIR No.13/2014 iled by the Anti Corruption Bureau, Directorate of Vigilance, State of Goa, against the petitioners and since it recorded that the FIR shall be quashed and set aside, we had speciically asked Mr Karpe to take instructions. Today, he is under instructions to make a statement that as far as the present petitioners (ive in number) are concerned, they are also governed by the consent terms and, the FIR be quashed against them. FIR No.13/2014 iled by the Anti Corruption Bureau under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 be quashed against the present petitioners also. He also make a statement that the prosecution is likely to ile 'A' summary in the form of a inal report as regards the subject FIR.

In the wake of the above statement, the Petition is allowed. FIR No.13/2014 registered by the Anti Corruption Bureau on 31.07.2014 is quashed and set aside as against the petitioners, particularly in the wake of the consent terms which, according to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, also extend to the present petitioners.

he Criminal Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No cost.
