2. Heard Mr. Parikshit Sawant, learned Counsel for the petitioner. Mr. Parikshit submits that this contempt petition was instituted

2 CP 46/2018 in WPNo.660/2017 because the respondents failed to comply with the directions issued by this Court in its judgment and order dated 21.11.2017 in Writ Petition no. 660/2017. However, he has fairly pointed out that the respondent no. 1 i.e. GPSC, Panaji had instituted a petition for Special Leave to Appeal (c) No. 3587/2018 in which, on 07.01.2019, the Hon'ble Apex Court has made the following Order:- " O R D E R Order dated 03.01.2019 shall be read as follows: Issue notice returnable in four weeks.

Until further orders, there shall be stay of operation of the impugned judgment and order passed by the High Court.

The appointments made shall be subject to the outcome of the special leave petition.

In view of the aforesaid order, we do not feel it appropriate to keep the present contempt petition pending. However, depending upon the outcome of the Special Leave to Appeal, the petitioner is granted liberty to institute a fresh contempt petition if and when
