2. During the course of hearing the above petition it was not disputed that petitioner has an alternate remedy to challenge the impugned Seniority List dated 6.7.2009.
3. Considering that the petitioner has an alternate remedy, it would not be appropriate to exercise our extra ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Needless to say, in case such an alternate remedy is resorted to by the petitioner, the Appellate Authority shall examine such appeal on its own merits
WP/1032/2016 after hearing the parties in accordance with law. All the contentions of the parties are left open. Petition stands disposed off accordingly. C. V. BHADANG, J.
