Heard Mr. Nigel Da Costa Frias with Mr. G. Malik for the Petitioner. Ms. Ankita Kamat, Addl. Government Advocate for Respondents No.1, 2 & 3 and Mr. Parag S. Rao for Respondent no.4.

2. Since the institution of this petition, several developments have taken place, some of which have even been challenged by the petitioner by instituting appropriate proceedings.

3. The grievance that now survives is the non-disposal of representations dated 15.09.2019 and 17.09.2019 by the concerned authorities.

4. Ms. Kamat states that the concerned authorities will dispose of petitioner's representations dated 15.09.2019 and 17.09.2019 in accordance with law and upon complying with the principles of natural justice and fair play expeditiously and in any case within a period of four weeks from today. This statement is accepted.

5. Mr. P. S. Rao, the learned counsel for respondent no.4 states that the decision taken in the meeting held on 25.09.2019 will be furnished to the petitioner within a period of one week from today, without prejudice to its contention that the petitioner is not entitled to such copy since he is not a member of the society. The petitioner, if aggrieved, is granted liberty to challenge such decision in accordance with law and on its own merits. However, objections of respondent no.4 to such challenge are also left open.

6. According to us, the grievance of the petitioner stands substantially redressed in view of the aforesaid and for the present. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of leaving the contentions of the petitioner and respondent no.4 intact. SMT. M. S. JAWALKAR, J.
