Heard Mr Diniz, learned Senior Advocate who appears along with Mr T. Vaz, learned counsel for the Applicant, Mr N. Takkekar for Respondent No.1, Mr V. Sardessai, learned Additional Government Advocate for Respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 5, and Mr Nadkarni for Respondent No.4.

2. We have perused the Misc. Civil Application seeking leave to amend the petition. Amendment is not seriously opposed by any of the 22nd January, 2024

MCA 568 of 2023 learned counsel for the Respondents. The application is accordingly allowed and leave is granted to amend the writ petition.

3. Mr Diniz states that the amendment will be carried out within a week from today and even an amended copy of the petition will be supplied to the learned counsel for the Respondents.

4. The learned counsel for the Respondents seek two weeks' time to file their response to the petition as amended. They say that the advance copies will be supplied to the learned counsel for the Petitioner. Rejoinder, if any, to be filed within a week from the receipt of replies.

5. Stand over to 04.03.2024.
