On 03/11/2017, the learned Counsel for the petitioner had not pressed prayer clause (a).

2. The only contention is that the petitioner has applied to the Superintendent of Police, Margao on 10/10/2017 for grant of police protection, which application is not being decided. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, states that the application shall be decided within two weeks from today. The statement is accepted.

3. In view of this, nothing survives in the petition. The respondent no.2 shall decide the application dated 10/10/2017

WPCR/183/2017 within a period of two weeks, in accordance with law.
