The petition raises various disputed questions of facts. However, it is not necessary to go further on merits as the learned Advocate General states that the State will not carry out any work of civil nature outside the area that vests in the State in respect of the controversy in question. In view of this categorical statement made by the learned
Aura 2 WP1013-17dt 03-05-2018 Advocate General, it is clear that the interest of the petitioner, if any, in the land, is protected. If this assurance is breached by the State, the petitioner has his remedy open in law.
