2. Mr Gaonkar, on instructions, states that the petitioner, for the present, would be satisfied if directions are issued to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's Review Petition dated 15.07.2019 (pages 70 to 72 of the paper book), within a time-bound schedule.

3. In terms of the rules applicable, such a Review Petition should have been disposed of within six months from its receipt. Accordingly, we direct the respondents/reviewing authority to ensure 6th December, 2023

WP 788 of 2023 that the Review Petition dated 15.07.2019 is disposed of in accordance with law and on its own merits as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, not later than two months from today. The decision on the Review Petition must be communicated to the petitioner within this period of two months.

4. In case the petitioner is aggrieved, liberty is granted to take out appropriate proceedings, including to challenge the dismissal order. All contentions of all parties are accordingly left open.

5. The petition is disposed of in the above terms without any order for costs.
