Dilip Pandharinath Kerkar., v. Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority, Thr. Its Member Secretary, Govt. Of Goa And 2 ORS.,
1 wp1020-18dt.01-11-18 Santosh IN THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA WRIT PETITION NO.1020 OF 2018 Dilip Pandharinath Kerkar.
..... Petitioner.
Versus
Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority and others.
..... Respondents Mr. Nikhil D. Pai, Advocate for the Petitioner. Mr. Deep Shirodkar, Additional Govt. Advocate for Respondent No.l.
Coram : N.M. Jamdar & Prithviraj K. Chavan, JJ.
Date : 1 November 2018.
P.C.:
This Petition was filed as the Petitioner was not aware whether any appropriate action was taken by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority in respect of his complaint. 2.
The Coastal Regulation Zone notification mandates the Authority to set up a dedicated website and we had directed to do so, pursuant to which the Authority has set up a dedicated website.
3. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Govt. Advocate state that the information regarding the complaint of the Petitioner is put up on the website of the
2 wp1020-18dt.01-11-18 Authority. The learned Additional Govt. Advocate states that the Authority now regularly puts up the information regarding the cases on its website.
4. Since the Authority has now issued a notice and also displayed the same on its website and the action on the complaint of the Petitioner would be taken to its logical end as per law, we do not find that any other direction in this respect is necessary, at present. 5.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Since now that the authority, albeit belatedly, has taken cognizance, we expect that further action would be taken expeditiously. Prithviraj K. Chavan, J.
