Heard Shri D. Pangam, learned Advocate for the petitioners and Shri M. Amonkar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the respondents.

2. The challenge in the above petition was to the ban imposed by Shipping Ministry on the approvals of post-sea and modular courses.

3. During the course of hearing Shri M. Amonkar, learned Central Govt. Standing Counsel has brought to our notice the letter dated 1.11.2016 whereby the ban in question has been lifted. Letter is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

4. In view of the above, the grievance of the petitioner would not survive.

5. Mr. Amonkar, learned Central Govt. Standing Counsel however, points out that the application filed by the petitioner dated 10.11.2016 shall be disposed off expeditiously within a period of two months from today. Accepting the said statement, petition stands disposed off accordingly.
