Tese are applications seeking condonation of delay, setting aside of abatement and leave to bring on record the legal representatives of some of the deceased respondents. 25th August 2023

Ms Pereira states that necessary notices have been served upon the respondents. Considering the averments made in the civil applications, the delay is satisfactorily explained. Accordingly, the delay is condoned. Te abatement, if any, is set aside. Leave is granted to bring on record the legal representatives as prayed for in the three applications.

Te three applications are accordingly allowed and disposed of.

Ms Pereira states that necessary amendments will be carried out within two weeks from today. She further states that process fees and copies will be supplied for effecting service upon the respondents.

For the purpose of effecting service the returnable date shall now be 06.10.2023.
