The petitioner has tendered an application dated 20.8.2018 to the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority for regularization of the reconstruction already made. The application is stated to be pending. Since the petitioner has made construction after demolition of the old construction without a proper permission, the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority had issued notice directing the petitioner to demolish the construction. According to the
2 wp1033.18 dt 22-11-2018 Petitioner, he has approached the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority seeking regularization of the construction. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he would tender necessary plan to the Authority within a period of two weeks. The learned Advocate General states that the application tendered by the Petitioner will be considered by the Authority and appropriate decision in respect of regularization shall be taken within a period of six weeks from submission of the plan. It would be open for the Petitioner to tender the plan showing the proposed construction/reconstruction to the Authority. 2.
In the meanwhile the petitioner shall not raise further construction and the Goa Coastal Zone Authority shall not act upon the notice of demolition already issued.
