The learned Counsel for the rival parties informed this Court that a comprehensive settlement was arrived at between the parties after detailed negotiations. The consent terms were modified and accordingly an application for filing addendum to the consent terms dated 3.5.2019 has been handed over to this Court. It is signed by both the parties and their respective counsel. Paragraphs 3 of the application gives list of the matters which the petitioner in Criminal Writ Petition no. 90 of 2019 i.e husband proposes to withdraw as well as list of the matters respondent wife seeks permission to withdraw. It is brought to the notice of this Court that steps necessary under the said modified consent terms have been taken by the parties and that the husband has handed over demand drafts pertaining to the amounts agreed between the parties. The

details are given in paragraph 9 of the application. 2.

In this light, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that all the pending matters could be disposed of in terms of the modified consent terms. Parties are present in Court.

In view of the detailed consent terms of modified settlement placed on record and the statement made on behalf of the rival parties that they shall abide by the terms, this Court is inclined to allow the present application. 4.

Application is allowed. Consequently the matters listed at paragraphs 3a and 3b of the application are permitted to be withdrawn and they are disposed of as withdrawn. 5.

Parties are directed to abide by the terms of settlement. MANISH PITALE, J.
