Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. The learned Additional Government Advocate waives service on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 2.

3. Ms. Desai, the learned Counsel for the petitioner has made a limited prayer, at this stage. It is contended that in pursuance of the order passed by the Deputy Director of Panchayats, the Village Panchayat has already issued the construction license and the respondent no. 4 is proceeding with the construction. It is submitted that the petitioner has already filed Appeal against the order passed by the Deputy Director of Panchayats, which Appeal is pending before the Additional Director of Panchayats.

WP/876/2019 She submits that the Appeal before the Additional Director of Panchayats may be expedited.

4. In such circumstances, the learned Additional Director of Panchayats, is hereby directed to decide the Appeal as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the receipt hereof. Rival contentions of the parties on merits are left open. The Petition is disposed off, in the aforesaid terms, with no order as to costs.
