2. Respondent no. 1 is otherwise present in person.

3. By this revision application, the appellant has challenged the judgment and order dated 22/08/2013 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 145/2012 and judgment and order dated 01/10/2012 passed in Criminal Case No. OA/534/P/NIA/2008/C. By the impugned judgments, the appellant was convicted for offence under Section 138 of N. I. Act to undergo Simple Imprisonment for six months and to pay compensation of Rs. 5,00,000/- to the respondent no. 1.

4. The parties have amicably settled the matter between themselves. Consent terms, thereby compounding the offence, have been filed today. The same are taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. The respondent no. 1, who is present in person, submits that the parties have willingly compounded the offence, due

STM/3414/2013 to which she has no grievance against the appellant.

5. In view of the above, the application is allowed. (a) The impugned judgments and orders are quashed and set aside. (b) The appellant stands acquitted of the offence under Section 138 of N. I. Act, as a result of composition. (c) Bail bonds stand cancelled.

(d) Any warrants pending against the appellant in respect of the present subject matter, shall stand cancelled.

6. The application stands disposed of.
