After the judgment and order in this petition was pronounced, the learned Advocate General points out that the Collector concerned with this issue will be the Collector of South Goa and not the Collector of North Goa.

Accordingly, we grant the petitioners leave to amend the petition by making necessary corrections in the cause title. Now that the petition is disposed of, the registry can itself make this correction st March 2022
