The above petition takes exception to the refusal of the permission by the Sports Authority of Goa - respondent no.3 for holding an event of "All Goa Biathlon ( Run-Swim-Run) Championship" sought by the petitioner. The matter was adjourned on two occasions to enable the parties to work out a solution in the matter as it was the contention of Mr. A. Kakodkar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.3 that such event cannot be held in the swimming pool as it would grossly affect the condition of the

WP/853/2015 swimming pool constructed by the State Government having international standard. Though opportunities were given and meetings were apparently held with that regard, the parties could not work out a solution in the matter.

Upon hearing the learned counsel and taking note of the reasons noted by the respondent no.3 while refusing to grant such permission to hold the event in the swimming pool of the respondent no.3, we find that the reasons on the basis of the contention of the parties cannot be said to be unreasonable. Apart from that, there is no question of interfering in writ jurisdiction in such matter when there are no malafides attributed to the respondent no.3 in refusing such permission.
