2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions of the petitioner, who is present in court, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. It is made clear that we have not considered the merits of the respective contentions.

3. The recruitment rules for the post of Director and Joint Director are yet to be finalised. We grant liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation to the Government after the recruitment rules are framed or in the event the post is to be filled in on a regular 7th July, 2023

WP 119 of 2023 basis, to consider his claim in accordance with law.
