After this matter was heard for some time, Mr. Pranay Kamat, learned counsel for the petitioners, based on instructions from the petitioners, submits that the petitioners will be satisfied if this petition is treated as a representation by the Government and disposed of in accord with law.

Mr. Shirodkar, learned Additional Government Advocate, on instructions from the Director of Panchayats, states that the Government will consider and dispose of this representation within six months on its own merits and in accord with law. th July 2022

Further, at the request of Mr. Kamat, leave is granted to address a supplementary representation alongwith additional documents within 10 days from today.

Accordingly, the State to consider this petition and the supplementary representation on its own merits and in accord with law and dispose of the same within 6 months from today. 5.

This Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the matter and, therefore, all contentions of all parties are left open. 6.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 7.

There shall be no order for costs.
