The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that unauthorised illegal construction is carried out by respondent no.7. Inspite of making complaints blind eye has been turned by the Authorities and no action has been initiated. 2.

The learned Counsel for the Village Panchayat - respondent no.5 submits that site inspection is conducted on 01.02.2023. The learned Advocate further submits that now the meeting has been st February 2023

9-WP-21-2023.DOC scheduled on 24.02.2023 and the the further action would be taken by the Panchayat in accordance with law. The statement is accepted. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner further submits that even permission under the Goa Land Revenue Code for conversion of the land is not obtained. According to the learned Counsel representation has been made by the petitioner to respondent no.3 and respondent no.3 has not taken cognizance of the same. 4.

As the Panchayat has already taken steps pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner, naturally, the Panchayat would proceed ahead in accordance with law.

As far as the representation of the petitioner with respondent no.3 is concerned, respondent no.3 may take decision upon the representation of the petitioner on its on merits and in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of with no costs.
