Respondent no. 1 is served and the service report of respondent no. 2 is awaited. However, for the order that we propose to make, respondent no. 2, is unlikely to be prejudiced. 3.

The petitioner had filed complaints on 07.09.2022 and 18.11.2022 to the Village Panchayat of Assonora about some alleged illegal construction undertaken by respondent no. 2 in Survey No. 8/1 of Village Assonora. The only prayer in this Petition is to dispose of the complaints filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

Since the complaints are pending since September 2022, we direct the Panchayat to dispose of the complaints filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and not later than six weeks from the receipt of the authenticated copy of this order. The Panchayat will have to comply with the principles of natural justice and fair play. All contentions of all parties are expressly kept open. The Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
