Heard Mr. Desai, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Naik, the learned Counsel for the respondent no. 1 and Mr. Sardessai, the learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondent no. 2.

2. The petitioner is challenging the order dated 07.08.2018, passed by the State Registrar, thereby upholding the objection raised on behalf of the respondent no. 1, to the production of a photo copy of the notarial register of the respondent no. 1, during the course of the evidence of the petitioner.

3. It transpired during the course of the arguments at bar that subsequent to this, the respondent no. 1 has examined himself and has been cross examined on the copy of the said register, which is produced at Exhibit-5.

4. Thus, it is difficult to see as to how, the impugned order affects the interest of the petitioner, when the copy, which the petitioner wanted to produce on record, is already exhibited and the petitioner has already been afforded opportunity to cross examine the respondent no. 1, on the basis of the said copy.

5. The petition is thus without any merit and is dismissed, with no order as to costs.
