Heard Mr. Lotlikar, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.N.S. Nadkarni, the learned Advocate General for the respondents.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner the grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though the F.I.R No.226/2015 has been registered way back in the year 2014, no investigation has been carried out. The learned Advocate General states that the investigation is in progress and will be concluded and a report submitted to the concerned Magistrate within six months from today.

3. Accepting the said statement of the learned Advocate General,

WPCR/153/2015 we find that nothing would survive in the present petition. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. Needles to say that as the F.I.R has now been registered before the Margao Town Police, any further action, if any, by the petitioner would be taken before the competent Magistrate.
