Heard Mr. Rao, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. A.N.S. Nadkarni, the learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents.

2. Mr. Rao the learned counsel, upon instructions seeks liberty to file a proper representation to the State Government seeking rehabilitation in lieu of the compensation awarded in the proceedings for acquisition which is the subject matter of the above writ petition, as according to the petitioner his residential house is also acquired. Mr. Rao has also pointed out that in fact the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 17/7/2015 with the respondent no.1 which has not yet been disposed of.

3. Hence liberty to the petitioner to file an additional or a supplementary representation seeking such rehabilitation within two weeks from today. In case such a representation is filed, the State Government shall examine such representation in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of such representation.

4. In view of the said statement of Mr. Rao, upon instructions of the petitioner, we find that nothing as such survives in the above petition. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly with liberty to the petitioner to file such representation referred to herein above. C. V. BHADANG, J.
