Heard Mr. Salatry, learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. Shirodkar, learned Additional Government Advocate for the Respondent no.1 and Mr. Pundalik N. Raikar, learned Counsel for the Respondent no.3.

2. For the order that is proposed to be made, the presence of the second Respondent is not necessary.

3. The Petitioner filed a complaint regards a structure put up by the third Respondent based upon which the Panchayat issued a demolition Order. The third Respondent has challenged the demolition order 12th December, 2023

WP 881 of 2023 before the Additional Director of Panchayats.

4. In the pending appeal, the Petitioner applied for intervention. The Petitioner's grievance is that this application for intervention is not being expeditiously disposed of.

5. Mr. Raikar, learned Counsel for the third Respondent, very fairly states that the third Respondent has not even opposed the application for intervention/impleadment.

6. Accordingly, the third Respondent is directed to implead the Petitioner as a Respondent in the Appeal before the Additional Director of Panchayats.

7. Considering this direction, the Petitioner's application for intervention stands disposed of. The Appeal should be decided in accordance with law and on its own merits.

8. The Petition is disposed of in the above terms with no order for costs.

9. All concerned to act on the basis of an authenticated copy of this Order.
