Heard Ms. A. Kamat, learned counsel appearing for the applicants, Mr. N. Pai, learned counsel appearing for the respondents and Mr. H. D. Naik, learned counsel appearing for the Housing Board.
2. This is an application to permit the applicants to withdraw the admitted amount without prejudice to the rights and contentions to recover the balance amount. The learned counsel appearing for the GIDC has placed on record a communication received from the Department giving no objection to withdraw a sum of Rs.18,30,340/-. Mr. S. A. Belwade, Area Manager (Land
MCA/913/2016 Acquisition ) Goa IDC, Panaji is also present in Court. The communication is marked 'X' for identification.
3. It is pointed out in the application that the applicants require such amount on account of some medical exigencies. Hence, the application stands disposed of by permitting the applicants to withdraw the said amount of Rs.18,30,340/- without prejudice to the rights and contentions.
