This is an application to stay the operation of the impugned judgment dated 15.3.2016 whereby the applicant has been directed to pay compensation of sum of Rs.1,10,000/- and further to undergo simple imprisonment of three months for committing offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. In peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, operation of the said judgment is stayed subject to the applicant depositing in this Court a sum of Rs.1,10,000/- within one week from today.
