2. None appears for Respondent No. 1, though duly served.

3. This is an Application for condonation of delay of 7 days in filing leave to Appeal.

4. The learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that the delay is due to a bonafide belief that the Application for grant of leave could be 14th February, 2024

CRMA 70 of 2020 filed excluding the period during which the certified copy was applied and issued. He submits that the Applicant being a Senior Citizen was unable to approach the concerned Advocate for taking instructions.

5. Considering the submissions and the grounds raised in the present Application and that the delay is only of 7 days, the same could be condoned as the reasons in the Application are found to be sufficient.

6. The Application stands allowed. The delay of 7 days in filing the leave to Appeal is condoned.

7. Office to register the leave to Appeal accordingly. The Applicant shall remove all the office objections within a period of one week.

8. Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 70 of 2020 stands disposed of.
