Heard Shri Sudesh Usgaonkar, the learned Counsel appearing for the applicants, Shri Salkar, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the original respondent nos.1 and 2 and Shri Lotlikar, the learned Senior Counsel for the original petitioner.

2. The above application has been filed for extending the time to effect payment of the backwages as ordered by the judgment dated 03/09/2015, while disposing of W.P.No.300/2012.

3. Shri Usgaonkar, the learned Counsel appearing for the applicants submits that the amount of arrears as ordered by this Court could not be paid to the original petitioner and according to him, the calculation has already been submitted on 12/11/2015. Shri Usgaonkar further points out that it would be appropriate to extend the time to pay backwages.

4. Shri Salkar, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the original respondent nos.1 and 2 submits that the process of calculating the amount payable to the original petitioner is in progress and the calculations are expected to be completed within a period of six weeks from today.

5. Shri S. D. Lotlikar, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the original petitioner submits that even the salary of the petitioner for the period from the date of judgment of this Court, has not been paid by applicants.

6. In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, time to pay the backwages is extended by six weeks, in view of the statement of Shri Salkar, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the original respondent nos.1 and 2. As far as the grievance of the original petitioner about the payment of subsequent salary is concerned, there is no reason to extend any time to effect such payment as the concerned respondents are liable to pay the salary

MCA/869/2015 from the date of the judgment in the above case.
