In view of the affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no. 4 wherein the Management of Goa College of Agriculture has decided to scrap/discontinue the said selection process and for the reasons mentioned in paragraph 5 of the affidavit, nothing survives for further consideration of the matter. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision of respondent no. 4 to scrap/discontinue the selection process, it will afford a separate cause of action to the petitioner to challenge the decision.

2. Keeping all contentions open and reserving the liberty of the 4th March, 2025

WP 753 of 2024 petitioner to challenge the decision of the General Council as mentioned in paragraph no. 5 of the affidavit, petition is disposed of. No costs.
