Heard Mr. Pranay Kamat, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. D. Pangam, Advocate General along with Mr. Vishwadh Sardessai, Additional Government Advocate, appearing for the Respondents no.1 and 2.

By this petition the petitioner prays for the following substantive relief:

"(i).This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate order directing the respondents no.1 and 2 to decide Panchayat Appeal No.121/2018 and Case No.DDPN/VerlaCanca/59/2018/47 within a stipulated time and not more than three months in respect of illegal construction in survey no.107/13 of Village Verla Canca, Bardez - Goa.

The learned Advocate General states that the respondents no.1 and 2 will dispose of the proceedings in the aforesaid prayer clause within a period of three months from today. 4.

By accepting the aforesaid statement, we direct the respondents no.1 and 2 to act accordingly, to dispose of this petition. 5.

The aforesaid direction is issued also because the petitioner is reported to be 80 years of age and has been pursuing the matter.

All concerned to act on the basis of an Authenticated copy of this order.
