Heard Mr Kamat, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr Kamat, learned counsel invited our attention to the averments made in the petition. It is submitted that the complaint dated 3.8.2016 was made regarding illegal construction by respondent no.4 in survey no.148 Part, Durgabhat of village Ponda Taluka to respondent no.1. It is further submitted that complaint dated 15.12.2022 was made regarding illegal conversion by respondent no.4 in survey no.148/1 part, Durgabhat of village Ponda Taluka to respondent no.2.

3. Ms Bhat, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate for respondent nos. 2 and 3 on instructions submits that the complaint will be looked into and necessary action against illegal conversion in accordance with law will 12th February, 2025

WP 807 of 2024 be taken within a period of four months from today.

4. In our opinion it is not necessary for us to issue any notice to respondent no.1. Suffice it to say that the Chief Officer, Ponda Municipal Council will look into the complaint as regards the allegations of illegal construction done by respondent no.4 in survey no.148/1 Part, Durgabhat of village Ponda and take appropriate action at his level as well, within a period of four months from today.

5. A copy of this order along with a copy of this petition be placed for consideration of respondent no.1 by 14.2.2025.
