By this Civil Application, the petitioners seek to amend the petition by seeking to raise an additional ground.

2. Mr. P. Dangui, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that since this petition has already been admitted, at this stage, it would not be appropriate to permit the petitioners to raise additional ground.

3. According to us, there is no bar to the petitioners raising an

MCA/1009/2018 additional ground by way of amendment in the petition. No doubt, the respondents, will have to be given full opportunity to respond to such ground.

4. The amendment to be carried out within two weeks. Copy of the amended petition to be furnished to the learned Counsel for the respondents. The respondents are granted four weeks time to respond to the amended petition.
