1. This is an application for compounding of an offence under Section 138 of the N.I. Act, of which the Applicant had been convicted by the J.M.F.C., Ponda in Criminal Case No.168/OA/NIA/2019/B. The entire cheque amount has been deposited into the account of the Respondent Bank. The penalty amount has already been deposited with the GSLSA.

2. Considering these facts, the application is allowed. Applicant is acquitted of the offence under Section 138 of the N.I. Act. 18th August, 2025
