Shri K.Desai, learned Advocate submits that an amount of `40,000/- was initially deposited by the applicant before the learned Addl. Sessions Court and thereafter an amount of `46,500/-.

2. He would deposit a demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar of this Court for an amount of `75,750/- which would take care of the cheque amount and also the compensation awarded by the Court.

3. In view thereof, he prays for a suspension of the sentence. Taking into account that the applicant has deposited a substantial amount before the learned Sessions Court, Margao and the balance amount which is being deposited in this Court, the sentence imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Margao and confirmed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Margao is stayed.

4. The applicant is therefore ordered to be enlarged on bail on executing bail bond in the amount of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) and furnishing a surety in coextensive amount to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Margao.

5. The Registry to accept the demand draft.
