Hear Mr. Joaquim Godinho, learned Counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Vledson Lucio Braganza, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. This is an application for confirmation of the decree of divorce granted by the learned Judge Family Court, Belgaum in M.C. No.043/2016 dated 4th August, 2016.

3. It is not disputed by the learned Counsel appearing for the applicant and the respondent that divorce was granted on the ground of mutual consent, which is a ground available under the law of divorce applicable to the State of Goa. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent, upon instructions, states that the respondent has no objection in case the said Divorce

MCAM/977/2016 Decree is confirmed by this Court.

4 Hence, the Judgment/Order of the learned Judge Family Court, Belgaum in M.C. No.043/2016 dated 4th August, 2016 dissolving the marriage of the applicant and the respondent on the ground stated therein, stands confirmed. The application stands disposed of accordingly.
