This is an application for condonation of delay of 17 days in filing the application for leave to appeal against conviction of the applicant for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. The learned Counsel for the respondent no. 1 opposes the prayer for condonation of delay. However, for the reasons mentioned in the application and looking to the extent of the delay, the same is condoned. The application is allowed. Let the criminal application be registered.
