Heard Ms. A. Razaq, learned Counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Shivan Desai, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent.

This is an application to permit the Official Liquidator to start the process of inviting the claims of the workers of the concerned Company for the purpose of adjudicating their respective claims. Further, a relief is also sought to permit him to spend a sum of Rs.12,415/- towards the publication costs and to publish such a notice in the local newspaper English "Gomantak Times" and the local daily Marathi "Gomantak" . There is also a prayer to disburse such amounts. But, however, no such prayer for disbursement can

COAP/14/2016 be granted unless such claims are adjudicated, at this stage.

3. Hence, the application is disposed of, permitting the Official Liquidator to invite the claims as referred to in prayer clause (a) of the application and spend the said sum of Rs.12,415/- for the purpose of publishing the notices in two local newspapers, one each in English and Marathi. The prayer in respect of disbursement is not granted at this stage, but shall be examined after the claims are duly adjudicated.
