Mr. Digvijay Parab files a written application seeking leave to withdraw the First Appeal No.71 of 2012. Mr. Parab also produces on record a power of attorney issued by the Appellant/Insurance Company favouring Mr. Digvijay Parab, Legal Officer. 3.
Dehors the power of attorney, Mr. Parab states that he has instructions to seek leave to withdraw this First Appeal. th April 2023

Accordingly, leave is granted as prayed for and the appeal is disposed of as withdrawn.

The amount that the Insurance Company has deposited in the Court can now be withdrawn by the Respondents/claimants based on the impugned award.

Since the Respondents/claimants have not appeared, the registry if necessary through the Goa State Legal Services Authority should contact the Respondents/claimants so that they receive the compensation amount deposited in this Court. The Respondents/claimants will have to submit their identification and bank details so that the amount can be directly transferred to their bank accounts. This exercise must be completed within two months by the registry and the Goa State Legal Services Authority. 7.
The appeal is disposed of in the above terms without any order for costs.
