This is an application for condonation of delay in challenging the judgment and order dated 30.06.2017, passed by the learned Sessions Judge in Special Case No. 32/2014, by which, the applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with Section 22(c) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of ten years and to pay a fine of Rs.1 lakh and in default to undergo further simple imprisonment for a period of one year. The applicant is in jail.
