IN THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA
WRIT PETITION NO. 54 OF 2017 MRS. MANUELITA D'COSTA AND 4 ORS., ... Petitioners
Versus
SMT. NALINI RAWAL AND 15 ORS., ... Respondents Adv. Nigel Da Costa Frias for the Petitioners. Coram:- C. V. BHADANG, J.
Date:- 23rd January, 2017 P.C.:
On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners for some time, I do not find that any case for interference is made out in the impugned order. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the Village Panchayat in such circumstances may be directed to complete the action within a time bound manner as the petitioners are pursuing the matter from the year 1987. In such circumstances, the petition is dismissed. The Village Panchayat shall complete the action in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and within a period of three months from the receipt of this order. The Village Panchayat shall decide the matter independently on its own merits and without being influenced by the observations made in the order of the learned District Judge.
