Rule. Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents waive service. Heard forthwith, with the consent of the learned Counsel.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though an inquiry was initiated against the petitioner way back in October, 2016, the inquiry has not yet been completed and, as such, prays for expeditious disposal of the proceedings before the Inquiry Officer. 4.
Mr. M. Amonkar, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent No.1, upon instructions, states that Shri Sopein Relekar, has already been appointed as an Inquiry Officer and that the inquiry would be completed within six months from today.
5. In view of the said statement of the learned Counsel
3 WP12-17 appearing for the respondent No.1, which is accepted, we dispose of the above writ petition by directing the Inquiry Officer to dispose of the inquiry as expeditiously as possible, in any event within six months from today.
