The Applicant has filed the present application for the following prayers :

"(a) The Judgment, Order and Decree dated 25.04.2019 passed by the Honourable Family Court at Bury St. Edmunds in matter No. BVI8D25917 be declared as final, ratified, sanctioned and confirmed.

(b) That the office of Civil cum Sub Registrar of Mormugao be directed to cancel the entry of marriage registered between the applicant and the Respondent No.1 against entry No. 12/2007 of the Marriage Registration Book for the year 2007 of the Civil Registration Office of Mormugao, Goa."

It is the case of the Applicant that a Decree of Dissolution of Marriage is already passed by the Family Court at Bury, St. Edmunds, U.K. On this basis, the aforesaid prayers have been made. 3.

Upon notice being issued, Mr. T. Gawas, learned Additional Government Advocate has entered appearance on behalf of Respondent no.2.

The Respondent no.1 was served and she has sent a reply by email which is placed on record. The Respondent no.1 in her reply has specifically stated that she has no objection for ratification of aforesaid Decree of Dissolution of Marriage passed by the Court in U.K. 5.

In view of the above, the present application is allowed in terms of the above quoted prayers.
