1. In continuation of the order dated 26/03/2025, the learned counsel Mr. Rodrigues representing respondent no. 3, on instructions, makes a statement that the amount of refund due to the petitioner shall be refunded within a period of 6 weeks from today. He is extremely critical about the circular which permits such amount to be refunded and the Panchayat desire to challenge the said circular. We say nothing in this regard as if this option is available to the Panchayat, it may do so, but as long as the circular continues to operate, the Panchayat is expected to follow. 3rd April, 2025
