2. Learned Advocate submits that the entire compensation has been 6th October, 2025
CRMA 113 of 2025 deposited with the bank on 04.10.2024. This has been stated in the compounding application with a 'No Dues Certificate' annexed to the application. An amount of Rs.2,250/- has been deposited with the GSLSA in terms of the order dated 18.08.2025 of this Court. An application for compounding of the offence has been placed on record.
3. Though several attempts have been made to ensure the presence of the Respondent Cooperative Bank, none appear despite having been served. Considering that the Applicant has now made the entire payment of compensation and has deposited the penalty amount, the Applicant stands acquitted of the offence under Section 138 of the N.I. Act of which he was convicted by order dated 13.12.2022 of the J.M.F.C. at Bicholim in Criminal Case No. OA/823/2019/A.
4. All pending applications stand disposed of.
