Heard Ms. C. Collasso, the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. G. Nagvekar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

2. By this petition, the petitioner seeks the Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent no.2 to pass necessary orders and to grant furlough for 28 days.

3. Mr. Nagvekar, the learned Public Prosecutor makes the

WPCR/261/2019 statement clear that the respondent will pass orders in accordance with law and on their own merits latest by 20th of December, 2019.

4. According to us, this is the only relief which we would have been able to grant in this petition.

5. Accordingly, accepting the aforesaid statement, we dispose of this petition directing the respondent no.2 to pass necessary orders in accordance with law latest by 20th December, 2019. SMT. M. S. JAWALKAR, J.
