Ms Divya Parab appears for the applicant and Ms S. Linhares, learned Additional Government Advocate holds for Ms Amira Razaq for the respondent.

Ms Parab points out that this civil application had sought for early hearing of First Appeal No.15/2017 on the ground that the appellant was a senior citizen, 93 years of age. She however now points out that the appellant has expired. 27th OCTOBER 2023

Accordingly, this application would normally be disposed of as infructuous but Ms Parab points out that there are other respondents in the appeal who are also senior citizens. 4.

Considering this submission, First Appeal No.15/2017 is ordered to be placed for final hearing on 18.01.2024. Te matter should be placed high on board subject to overnight part heard matters. Te matter to remain on board until it is finally disposed of.
