The petitioner has made a complaint dated 16.09.2024 to respondent No.1- Pernem Municipal Council stating that house No.10/12 at Kotkarwada, Pernem Goa, was registered in the name of the late father of the petitioner herein Ramkrishna B. Kotkar and he is survived by legal heirs.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that without obtaining no objection from the petitioner and other co-owners/heirs, the private respondent changed the ownership of the house by misrepresentation of documents. Accordingly, respondent No.1-Pernem Municipal Council issued a show cause notice to respondent No.2 and the personal hearing was fixed on 25.10.2024. It is further the grievance of 4th February, 2025

WP 20 of 2025 the petitioner that the said show cause notice needs to be decided and taken to its logical conclusion. We are not inclined to issue any notice to the respondents considering the order that we propose to pass which will not cause any prejudice to the respondents. Suffice it to observe that the show cause notice dated 16.10.2024 which is at page 39 of the petition needs to be decided expeditiously and taken to its logical conclusion at the earliest. We request the Chief Officer of Pernem Municipal Council to decide the show cause notice and take it to its logical conclusion within a period of 12 weeks from the date this order is placed before it. All contentions of the parties are kept open. We have not made any observations on merits of the contentions. The petition is disposed of. No costs.
