The Petitioner contends that an application seeking review of the order passed by the Hon'ble Minister for Revenue on 17.10.2017 is presented long back and the same has not yet been disposed of. Since the State Government did not grant interim protection during the continuance of the review proceeding and application for grant of interim protection remained pending, the Petitioner was constrained to approach this Court seeking interim relief during the pendency and disposal of the application seeking review of the order. The learned Single Judge of this Court by an order dated 03.01.2019 has granted protection in favour of the Petitioner which has been continued from time to time. 2.
The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner informs us that the Hon'ble Minister has finally heard oral arguments of the parties in the application seeking review and the Petitioner is expected to file written 1/2
(902) WP 7019 submission tomorrow. It is further informed that Respondent No.5 has already tendered written submission to the Hon'ble Minister. 3.
In the above circumstances, this Petition can be disposed of by directing the Hon'ble Minister to dispose of the proceeding of review initiated by the Petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from today. 4.
Interim relief granted earlier to continue till the disposal of the Review Application presented before the Hon'ble Minister. 5.
